For me, architecture is to take a position on complex situations, be engaged with the matters of the world, take risks and have the appetite to discover the unknown. We must accept what is different, resist the standardization of production and constantly question and expand the limits that are imposed on us today. This is how one can bring back Humanism to our society, and this is how Architecture can help the world.

Architecture is not only a profession, for me, it is the culture of everyday life.

We have left behind the 20th century, and we cannot continue to think and act the same way. The new generation has the chance to dream, create, invent, rethink, and build a new world for the 21st century and a part of my job is to help them. – Odile Decq
