Warsaw Winter Art Fair is a new event on the gallery map of Warsaw. The first edition of the winter fair, which will take place on the weekend of December 17-18, is an opportunity for the audience to encounter the proposals of leading contemporary art galleries on a completely different ground than usual.

The event initiated by the wanda gallery in cooperation with Syrena Real Estate will take place in the HOP building – a revitalized office building erected in 1996 in Warsaw at 132/134 Chmielna Street. Today, it appears as one of the symbols of transformational changes in the city, but also an icon of postmodern architecture and design. The original design is matched by today’s face of the building designed by Łoskiewicz Studio, inspired by the designs of Alessandro Mendini, Mario Botta and the Memphis Group.
On the last weekend before Christmas, the ground floor of the HOP building will be transformed into a unique exhibition space co-created by twelve galleries of contemporary art, which will present works by, among others, Pola Dwurnik, Yulia Krivich, Róża Litwy, Łukasz Stokłosa, Honza Zamojski, Tomek Mróz, Szymon Rogiński, Maurycy Gomulicki, Małgorzata Szymankiewicz and Martyna Borowiecka. The interior, full of expressive details, will become an opportunity to prepare unique site-specific presentations. It will also be a place to spend nice time among the polyphony of works entering into a dialogue both with the building and with each other.
The event is attended by: BWA Warszawa, Dawid Radziszewski Gallery, Krupa Gallery, Le Guern, LETO, Monopol, Olszewski Gallery, Piktogram, Raster, Human Heart, Szara and wanda.
During the Warsaw Winter Art Fair, you will also be able to get acquainted with the offer of the Society of Friends of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, a partner of the event, and purchase limited collector’s editions of works by artists participating in MSN exhibitions and activities.
