The pre-premiere celebration of the second issue of the “Architecture Snob” quarterly took place on April 6 at the Palace of Culture and Science. The choice of venue was not accidental – we shot the cover photo with Ewa Kuryłowicz there. In the Broniewski Hall we hosted many people connected with architecture, design, culture and social activity.

The evening was opened by Marcin Szczelina, editor-in-chief of “Architecture Snob”, with guest participation by Leslie Scanlon, the Ambassador of Canada, Jerzy Grochulski, the President of Polish Architects Association, and Marta Sękulska-Wrońska, the President of Warsaw Branch of SARP.

The event was also visited by our partners: representatives of the VIGO Kombucha and Geberit, Piotr Grochowski and Wojciech Kolenda (Arche Group), Sebastian Wiśniewski (KFA Armatura), Marcin Wynimko (JUNG). Andrzej Łebek (Lamilux), Anna Vonhausen (VANK), Olga Kisiel-Konopka (OKK PR), Ewa Barej (Vasco) and Magdalena Borowiec (Profim and Flokk) and Aneta Konowrocka (Cosentino) briefly talked about their brands.

Ewa Kuryłowicz, the heroine of the issue, and Bartek Barczyk, the cover photographer, were also present. Actress Olga Miłaszewska performed LOVE ISSUE – a reading of a love letter made of quotations taken from the texts published in the latest issue of “Architecture Snob”. Cezary Lisowski, design critic, curator and art historian, talked about the work of Paweł Olszczyński, who created a limited collection of brooches for our magazine. The official part of the evening was concluded by Krystyna Łuczak-Surówka, design critic and curator, who introduced the audience to the true meaning of the word “snob”.

The event was also a space for music. We hosted NIEBØ, a musical duo of Aga Ozon and Adrian Kieroński, who debuted in 2021 with the album “OLIMP”.

Raf Skowroński, previously associated with the group JÓGA, gave a solo performance and Marcin Motyw was dj-ing at the event.
